Audio Extrémité Elevée (High End Audio) at Chateau D' Terre

Below are some links to the sites of the people who have supplied equipment and technical advice in the building of the high end audio system at Chateau D' Terre..  These people KNOW high end audio.

We invite you to bring your favorite CD's or music on your MP3 player or iPod with you when you visit and you can listen to your music on this system.  If you really get hooked, and I predict you might, we can help you specify a system like this one and tell you where to source the components.  Some of the parts of this system are my own personal design and construction, but I love good music and good audio systems so much that I want to share this with our guests who may have the same passion. This system setup has been categorized on the internet as being on the lunatic fringe of the high end audio spectrum. Once you hear it, you can decide. One thing I can tell you; we are really into single driver speakers and SET (Single Ended Triode)  2A3 tube amplifiers, so these are the heart of the system.

For those into the technical side of audio, no crossovers allowed, no semi-conductors in the signal paths, just pure analog signals to the single full range drivers. One note of caution, the magnets on the drivers in this system can stop a high quality watch or some pacemakers, so if you have either of those, please let us know. We don't want to have to call 911 after you say, "jeeze that sounds good.!"   :-)
